Oral surgery is a specialized field of dentistry that deals with the diagnosis and treatment of many diseases and conditions in the oral cavity. Surgical treatments are accessed in the treatment of certain diseases and conditions of the oral cavity, such as: Surgical teeth extractions or dental root extractions, treatment of cysts, treatment of periapical lesions, treatment of infections of dental origin, treatment of periodontal disease and surgical preparation for implantation and pre prosthetic surgical preparation. Oral surgical procedures are carried out under local anesthesia. A goal that is expected is to eliminate the cause of infection and pain, improvement of chewing function, improving conditions for proper implant placement and appropriate prosthetic replacements. Apiceptomy  is a minimally invasive oral surgery , which aims to remove the tip of the tooth root and pathological changes around it, which are caused by the spread of infection from the root canal in the jaw bone around the root top. Apiceptomy  is a routine oral surgery with a very high percentage of success , performed under local anesthesia, takes about 30 minutes, postoperative recovery is very fast and the next day the patient is able to return to daily activities. Stitches are removed after 7 days.

Wisdom teeth, or third molars are the teeth that are emerging  up , in the oral cavity, last. Extraction of impacted or partially erupted wisdom teeth, if necessary,  is suggested by the oral surgeon, after examination and x-ray diagnostics.Extraction of wisdom teeth is a routine oral surgery, performed under local anesthesia, post-operative recovery is fast so that the patient through a day or two returns daily activity.

Raising the floor of the maxillary sinus is oral surgery procedure used to restore lost bone in the posterior region of the upper jaw. To bone loss in the lateral region of the upper jaw comes very often happens after tooth loss, which lowers the floor of the maxillary sinus. Sinus lift recovers the height of alveolar ridge and allows dental implants placement.
